I have chosen this NOC
2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
Main duties

Computer programmers perform some or all of the following duties:

• • Write, modify, integrate and test software code
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
  • Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
  • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers
  • May research and evaluate a variety of software products.
• Interactive media developers perform some or all of the following duties:
  • Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and Internet-based applications
  • Program special effects software for film and video applications
  • Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • May lead and co-ordinate teams of interactive media developers
  • May research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.

And my job responsibilities are as given below and as mentioned in my Experience letter.

MY Job Responsibilities:
• System analysis and designing to understand client’s requirements which include research, interviews,
survey, analysis and designing.
• Create user-friendly e-commerce and Internet-based applications, along with databases.
• Analyze, design, develop, integrate, test and deploy web/software programming codes.
• Analysis and writing code for modifications required by clients in their existing system.
• Identify and give optimized web based solutions to technical problems, processes and solutions.
Troubleshooting of programming and logical errors in existing web code.
• Estimation, designing and development of internet-based application with databases.
• Analysis of manual systems or existing systems to find problems.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software and web-based applications.
• Documentation of user requirements and creating help manual.
• Researching and learning new technologies timely to keep yourself ready for challenges.
• Team leading and problem solving skills to create conflict free environment.
• Configuration and deployment of websites or internet-based applications to servers or hosting. Backup and
recovery of data and code.
