Have CPR. Do I need academic IELTS to study?

I received CPR in October. I wish to study in Canada but I'm confused whether after PR, do I still need to take academic IELTS?

PS: I could not find clear answers on google. Hence thought this forum is the best way to find out. Any thoughts are appreciated

Ask the institution you plan to apply to what their policy is.
Has nothing to do with PR.
