Has anyone landed in Victoria BC?

I got PPR today and will send my passport info to Ottawa tomorrow. Once I get my documents, I'm wondering if I can land in Victoria (not at the airport, but at the ferry crossing).

Has anyone done this? I already live in Victoria so this would be easier than making an appointment.
