I’m pvt sponsored refugee, My decision was made and visa was issued in January 2023, but due to exit permit issues I couldn’t fly. My visa was expired in March 2023. There were some other refugees in similar situation, They received 2nd visa but im still waiting. @canuck78

These are very specific circumstances. You will need to deal with IRCC, private sponsors and any group like IOM facilitating your claim and safe passage to Canada.

Or it could be just the “ usual “ delay. Sponsor reached out to IRCC via lawyer and only response we got it “ request was added to the file”

Yes your file could be waiting for processing. This is an unusual circumstance so hard to say how long it will take.
