Has anybody heard of a third medical request?

I have sponsored my parents under the Parents and Grandparents immigration sponsorship. However, their second medical is about to expire in three weeks. Has anybody ever experiences or heard of third medical exam?

I have heard of people doing a third medical exam, but it might not be necessary. Officers now have the ability to extend the deadline for exams done within 15 months. Detail are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob423.asp This is up to the officer's discretion.

Hi guys need assistance here , just now i came to know that my medicals is nt been received by me my dad hv got a call from officer that no one received the medical papaers

but we have nt got it.

what to do now how to get that papers back plz help. . . .

i m so much worried abt this now plz help.....

I think you should contact the embassy via fax or directly call them and explain the situation. If nothing works contact your MP, may be they can help.

You must contact the doctors office where you had your immigration medical done. So long as it was a CIC panel physician they should be the ones to send the medical information to CIC. If you did not use a panel physician, then you and all family members that are part of the application must go to one and have a medical done. If you have a receipt that you paid your panel physician for your immigration medical I would send a copy of that to your VO immediately to see if they can help to facilitate getting the required information from your doctor.

My parents received their visa and got a short timeframe to travel. Glad that they do not have to go through the third medical examinations.

Yes, these days, its common. But now the officer can extend it.
