Has anybody got their Application back (due to new rules)

Anyone who got their application back due to new rules? my application reached the CIO on june 25 by courrier, i dont know if the delivery date is same as received date, im still waiting for my application, i really dont have an idea of what is happening on my application.

Do we have to send ALL the Dox at once ????????

COz, looking at this Canada Gazette > Part I: Notices and Proposed Regulations > 2010-06-26 on canadagazette dot gc dot ca, A Canadian Official site, there is no mention of sending all the Dox ( including PCC , Prrof of funds, Academics, Work Ex etc ) .

Only ITELTS score is required .

Request you to please give your opinion on this .

Do we get our DD back in case our application is returned to us?

All I know is that the CIC sent me a letter, I do not know what was it about as my postman sent it back when I was not available at my postal address. Probably it was a refusal letter since it was sent in a month after sending the application to CIC.

I am just waiting for them to send it again to me. :-\

Yes, I just spoke to an executive at the CIC call centre and he said that they are yet to open applications received in June. Just have to wait, I guess. :

There is a man pretending to be biologist who spreads his sh.t around the forum claiming his application was rejected (he is salim bhai, john pardeep and even philipino, registered same day). He does not share details, but spreads panic. He has been taken to clean waters by many forum members. If you ever see such type of messages, please be clear it has purpose to upset people only. Ignore them, keep the faith and continue collecting yours docs, completing applications and of course reading this forum. Good luck!

Hi Libby, apologies for quoting your response with my request to ignore a 'biologist' who sends wrong message to forum members.

You message indeed confirms position of senior members that this so-called 'biologist' (his name varies from salim bhai to john pardeep and other) is lying as he could not get response from CIO so quick. He says that the 1,000 quota for biologists is over and attempts to convince forum members and visitors planning to apply under the biologist NOC to stop efforts. From your message it is clear it is not so and that people shall continue.

The categories that were also there in the older 38 list, are likely to fill faster than the ones that have been introduced new, in this new list

Thus, (since there are only 20,000 seats for 29 categories) the old categories are likely to eat up on the total number of acceptable files in the new list of categories in the new list.

But then not all old categories will be filled up fully, (as Plumbers etc), the reason being the documentation & qualification required. How many plumbers in India actually have the required qualifications, or say IELTS level?

When I called the CIC call centre today, they told me they did not open any application after received after May 3. However on their website it says they are presently working on applications received till June 25.
