Why is the Hamilton office so slow? I understand the pandemic and all the related issues but even before the pandemic it was slow. And now it just adds to the backlog. Is a 24 month timeline from AOR to DM a standard at Hamilton? No updates since March 2020.

Anyone with same experience or anyone with better timeline?

Much worse Hamilton timelines here:

- (My self) June 2019 applicant, cleared test on March 5th 2020. Still waiting for oath.
-(Brother) July 2019 applicant, test cancelled for March 31th. Still waiting for TEST.

We are a family of 4. Our applications were sent in March 2019. We took our test in October 2019, the process is DM since November 2019. Waiting for the Oath. In the meantime, my wife and I had to take our fingerprints twice.

I am a Hamilton resident and I had my PR processed at the Hamilton IRCC office and the building on Bay Street looks huge from the outside. Turns out actual IRCC area inside the building might be quite small (if my PR processing area was anything to go by).

My PR application moved there towards the end and was approved. I had to go to my local MP office to get things speeded up otherwise they would have given me a 8-10 week wait (according to what IRCC office told the MP office). Thankfully the MP's secretary was such a helpful lady and she knew somebody personally at the IRCC office. She called in and got my application finalized and paperwork completed on an appointment 3 days later (instead of the 8 - 10 week wait).

So, in short, try to get your NDP MP to push it through if you are in Hamilton.

I did. made multiple calls to IRCC, send webform and even sent a FAX to Hamilton office. but still the waiting continues.
I'm in little better shape, my brother got his test cancelled for March 25th and now with the online tests, he hasn't heard anything from Hamilton office.
I'm June 2019 applicants, I know for sure other members here are May, April and even March 2019 applicants still waiting for TEST.
Really frustrating
