Hi All,

My father is Hafiz-e-Quran. On some of academic certificate Hafiz is mentioned with his name and on others not. Would it create any problem? Does an explanation letter will work stating that Hafiz is just a title for those who memorize the Quran and is not part of the name?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Saim

Anyone please?

I don't see it creating any problem that would result in rejection. If the VO is not satisfied he might request further proof like affidavits. Good luck.

explorer101 ,

Better send explanation affidavit at this stage. It will save time.

What would be in the "explanation affidavit", could you please explain it a bit?

Thanks,
Saim

Any comments on above?

Msaim. Please do not let yourself worry about the irrelevant things. Infact dont mind but really this question of yours is a bit out of track. There r scores of people i personally know with the same name who are now very successful in Canada. Besides why do you want to go into un asked explanations which wont do any good despite only arising doubts in the eyes of vo. Remember simplicity is the key tosuccess

Explain that you used to use your father's full name and first name.
