H1B Visa Extension

Hi,

Currently am working in USA with H1B visa. I need to apply for extension in October 2018.

I am taking IELTS in March and planning to apply for Canada PR in April. Is that okay to apply for PR before applying for extension? Will this create any problem for my H1B extension?
