H1B status after resignation and grace period to travel outside country

Hello guys ,

some one please help me

If an H1 B employee resign the company, will he go out of status immediately on the same day ? during that time , can H4 holder continue to work as per the H4 EAD validity ?


Also , if the status ends , within how many days h1b and h4 holders can stay in USA and travel to canada ???
Is there any grace period ???

there is a 60 day grace period after you resign. i think the h4 holder can also work these 60 days. after the grace period ends there is no more grace period and you will be in unlawful presence.
