Jasper, I mailed it to them last week and they have already received it. Do I still need to fax them ?

I mailed it to them. But Fax should also work.
 
Sorry for late reply. We applied on December 18th and PP was held by them and they said they will return after that only. Waiting time is anywhere b/w 1.5 -2 hrs so prepared for that. we went around 10.45 but submitted application only around 12.45. so plan accordingly. if u need any further clarifications msg me.

For FBI there us no need to go personally: u need to mail them fingerprinting cards with fees($18) & cover letter. Check out this site for details:

For the state of california you can submit your fingerprints electronically - i am not sure abot NY & MA.

I don't think you have to fax it if you have already sent it by mail.
 
I've sent my fingerprint card to the FBI at the beginning of December, no communication yet.
I there any phone number to call and check the status of my request?

I sent my fingerprint card to FBI on Dec 2 by postal mail, but I haven't heard anything, either. According to FBI website, the process takes "Approximately 8-10 weeks for processing, upon receipt to the FBI." So there's no need to call FBI at this point.

Jasper, submitted my FBI application third week of Dec...will keep you posted in case i hear something.... infact i am not expecting to hear anything for atleast 8 weeks.... thanks for all the help, i had no clue how to go about it until u helped!

Yes you have to with in 30 days. Address should be on the top right hand corner of this acknowledge form

Not required, it is included along with the $ 18 fee you paid.
