H&C PR returning home

Hi friends,

I would like to thank everyone for the help and advice given when I was going to apply for H&C. Now I am a permanent resident (it's been more that a year) and I have to return home for a visit since my father is sick.

I apply directly by H&C, I didn't apply for Refugee, just: tourist Visa and H&C.

My question is:

Can I return home without risk of loosing my PR?

I have heard that usually that is the risk for refugees, however there is no information for permanent residents that apply directly by H&C.
