Hi. My son 18 has applied for PRTD almost a month back. His grounds for PRTD are that he was taken out of Canada by my husband (his father) against his will. How much time will it take to process his application. Pl suggest. Regards

No one can answer. Takes as long as it takes.

Thanks. Little more, if he wishes to apply for a student visa, what should he do, as his passport is with the embassy.

As a PR, he can't apply. He needs to wait for the decision on the PRTD. If his PR status is revoked, then he can apply for a study permit.
