H&C application sponsoring my wife

Hello i have a question please help if anyone knows about it or if the following has happened with you :s
My husband is sponsoring me and it has been 6 months. That we submitted the application,, lately the embassy has informed us that the officer was not satisfied that my husband resided permanently in canada after he submitted the application but my husband has never left the country ever since i dont know why they thought he left. Anyway they decided to consider humatinarian and compassionate consideration under A25 of the act to overcome this fact,, has that happened with anyone of you?? Do you have any idea about this case or how much time does it take to make a decision ???
Plz any helppp !??

Did you ask them to take humanitarian and compassionate considerations into account in the application? Usually they only do so if they are asked to. It is a benefit for you - it means that in cases where they would have refused an application, they will instead at least consider it.
I don't know how long it will take - it is an unusual move.
Did they ask for more proof that your husband was living in Canada while the application was being processed? If they did not, you could try sending in proof of this: an apartment lease or home mortgage; a letter from his employer; credit card and bank statements showing he was using his cards in Canada; whatever he has that shows he was in Canada.

Thank you for your reply i already sent all the documents you mentioned above that's why i'm confused... Btw i didnt ask them to consider h&c they did it from their own initiative :s it's just that i'm really worried how much time it will take from now :s i've been waiting 5 months and now they're considering h&c :s

Sorry dear, I don't understand did you apply for the sponsorship under H&C? Is this the first time or second time?? Please help!! We want to apply for the H&C after we had a negative appeal decision!! Please help

No - the OP did not apply under H&C after being refused. CIC decided to consider their original application under H&C.

Thanks!! After I am refused by the sponsorship appeal!! I see the option for me is to apply for H&C!! Instead of taking it to Federal court!! Is it a good chance of winning????
