Hopefully someone will be able to help with this issue and if there is a solution it can help another as I couldn't find a definitive answer to this issue on the forums.
I recently received 1st stage approval and can apply for an open work permit however when I go onto the online portal to apply the eligibility questionnaire asks what my status is and later asks when does that status expire.
I went from work permit >visitor > out of status for 1 year so I am not able to answer those questions trufully to proceed to the open work permit page to get to the document checklist and upload via the online portal.
How do you answer the questionnaire with AIP but no matching current status to the options given to continue?
I understand 1st stage approval allows you to apply the OWP what are my options, should I be mailing out my application?
