Hey , I am on H1B visa in the USA and working as a teacher, to my knowledge according to the revised list of professional category to have PR in Canada , H1s are eligible and do not need employer to enter in Canada or for getting PR, my question is how practical would it be to land in Canada and then look for a job and how long does it get to get the PR. Do they have Special education teachers in the category? Please help me with these questions, I would like to get complete information on the process before I proceed. Thank you to you all in advance.

H1B to Canada was a category for Alberta or Monitoba Provincal immigration(not exactly sure which province) which is temperorily on hold. So you can't apply unless you have a job.
If you are in US and have US education/experience getting a job won't be very difficult compared to someone having Asian experience.
