Guys please help...University category..visa filing

Hi guys,

I have got my offer letter from TRU for my Post baccalaureate program. i have received various suggestions
regarding visa filing. Some say that i don't have to show any money in my bank account, some including my consultant (IDP)
have said to keep around 15L. i am very much confused regarding this. please help
My Profile is as follows:
10th - 79%
12th - 76%
Grads- 63%
IELTS 7 (R-7.5, L- 7, W-6.5, S- 7)

To get an approved visa, you need to show that you have sufficient funds to cover your first year tuition and your first year living expenses ($10K) and your travel expenses. You can show a bank balance - or you can show a bank balance + a loan.

Anyways i am paying my 1st sem fee and GIC so still do i require to show funds in my bank account?
