if u have your own checklist or advise or guideline pls share

Just make sure you gather all required documents mentioned in the checklist
>> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.pdf
and follow the instruction guide
>> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp
That should help.

Pls share ur experience about CEC

Pls add check list apart from gov guideline

There is no checklist apart from the one CIC posted on the CEC website?

Dear Toby trust me I was looking like advise from the first day to reach 356 days what should I keep in my mind I mean like as proper guide line

Like
must work full time
Keep good understanding with manager or boss

So that end of 365 days my everything is ready
All papers r ready for Cec application nothing missing

Sorry Toby to post same matter again and again

Hey Hamid,

There's no specific guideline other than the one from CIC. If you read all the documents and all the information on the website, which is very clear and concise, then you shouldn't have any problems. Everybody gathers documents differently, so there's no guideline to that. But generally:

Months before sending app:
- Do IETS, as they get booked quickly
- Police certificates (but not mandatory)

Weeks before sending app:
- All completed and signed forms
- Letter from employer
- Photos
- Passport photocopies
- Pay fees
- Optional documents like copies of pay stubs, work contract, notice of assessment, etc.

Note: if you are applying with family, it might take longer to gather documents.

Read this, this is helpful: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/frequently-asked-questions-for-general-informationeligibilitynew-members-t154632.0.html

p.s. good standing with manager/boss is not a requirement. As long as someone can write you a work reference letter.

It is solely your choice whether to use a lawyer or not but if your case is not too complicated then you can file it on your own...but again its solely your decision...you will find lot of posts in this forum around the same topic..

You should apply by paper for CEC and not via online..
