Guide to apply for provincial Nomination

Entering Canada has different ways or methods. For many professionals, they can live in Canada by applying for skilled worker category which requires work experience in the field that they are applying for. Another method is by family petition. Families living in Canada can petition their relatives from other countries so that their relatives can have a visa and live in Canada. Work permit can also be a good way wherein a company in Canada does provide you with the job allowing you to have a work permit in Canada. Another method is by provincial nomination.

Provincial nomination is a method of gaining access to Canada by allowing provincial governments to choose immigrants according to the economic needs of the province. Each establishes its own standards and processes by which it chooses its nominees and tries to nominate those candidates who would be most likely to settle effectively into the economic and social life of the region.

The following is a guide for Manitoba Nomination.

1. You need to learn about Manitoba. You must read about Manitoba so that you will know what to expect when settling there.

2. Download and print the free application kit. The application kit is a booklet with detailed explanations and instructions. It includes all MPNP forms, free of charge.

3. Read the entire application before you start filling it in. It is very important to read everything before writing to prevent unnecessary errors.

4. Determine which forms you need. For eligibility adequate documents are very vital. For example, Family stream requires an affidavit of support (MAS); the General stream requires different supporting documents with your application. Each assessment stream has a document checklist (MDOC).

5. Gather your supporting documents.
The document checklist explains what personal and other documents you are required to send with your application. For example, letters from your employer, school records etc.

6. Fill out your application. You can use a computer, a typewriter or by hand.

7. Check your application.

Verify you have filled out every question and included all documents you were instructed to prepare and include.

8. Mail your application to the MPNP office. (Manitoba Labour and Immigration Immigration Promotion and Recruitment Branch 7th Floor - 213 Notre Dame Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada R3B 1N3)
Photocopy your completed application for your records.

9. Wait for the reply. You will receive a letter advising that the application is received, then a letter advising you of the outcome of your application.
Successful applicant applies for Canadian permanent resident visa.

If you are accepted to the PNP a will be sent to you as Letter of Approval. You need this when you take the last step in the immigration process, which is applying to the Government of Canada for permanent resident visas for you and eligible family members.

Eligibility for manitoba immigration under general stream needs friend or any relative or job offer......part from this no option for Manitoba.

Manitoba immigration under General stream requires/is mandatory to have either a friend/community sponsor/relative/job offer apart from this its a distant dream.

gaurav2571,

all provincial nominee programs require a job offer at the moment without it its not possible to get a nomination certificate, only Manitoba that can nominate you if you have a relative, friend or community sponsor and your job is on demand in that region.
try securing a job offer first then you may get lucky, its not easy because employers do not prefer to hire internationally and wait months or year to see an employee coming.but if you have any family/friends in canada you can speak to them and they maybe able to help depending on which province they live at.
also if you speak french or willing to learn the language and you have enough qualifications you can try for quebec skilled worker program, for this you do not need a job offer from an employer but the process in most cases is a bit long just to get the quebec selection certificate and apply to the federal government for the permanent resident visa.
you can look up all this websites online and start reading then you will get a better idea.

good luck :)
