Hi All,
I am new to this forum but need to some guidance , as i am planning to apply for PR ASAP.
I am working in Canada since 2016 and i came on Intra Company Transfer on Specialized knowledge.
My WP is closed WP and WP had LMIA JOB Offer number.My NOC #2171
I have following Queries.
1] Currently i am preparing for IELTS and aiming to get 8777 [ due to age,though have CEC]
2] Currently my WP is valid till Jan , and my employer might can extend it further too.
3] But can anyone let me know if , this WP can be considered as a Job offer here ? so that at least i can get some additional points .
4] I had tried to calculate CRS by adding CEC,but due to age my score is low.
5] How best i can use my experience & WP to get additional points ? Is immigration have any rules / clauses where WP with LMIA can be considered.
Any Valuable inputs are much appreciated.

Based on the info on point#2, your job offer is valid for six months, whereas you should have atleast 1 yr offer to apply. So you cannot use your job offer to apply. However, as you said, your WP is likely to be extended which mean sometime by end of year, your company will give extension. Hope it will be of 1 year. By that time you can keep your WES assessment ready and obtain IELTS score as well, and when you get the extension, claim points for that. Hope you can meet the minimum crs score that is required.
 
Hi Thanks a lot for reply, but i read some where on immigration website that ,if you are already working in Canada then new LMIA / job offer is not required for additional points. maybe i am not clear.

How I am reading the statement in the link you shared is that LMIA indeed is not required for the job offer your company will provide as you have been working full-time for the employer on your work permit for at least 1 year. But you would still need the offer from your company which holds good for at least one year after your PR. Note: LMIA and job offer are not same.

Again, this is how I am interpreting, and probably others can comment as I am no expert/or applied with job offer. Just responding based on my findings.

A valid job offer has to be:
  • made by one employer
  • continuous
  • paid
  • full-time (at least 30 hours a week)
  • for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
    • not seasonal
  • in a job that is NOC:
    • Skill Type 0 or
    • Skill Levels A or B
