My brother has a car registered in the USA, he is temporarily moving to our home town and is expecting to return to Canada in near future.
So he is giving me his car and i was hoping to register it here in Canada on my name. His friend said students and work permits people cannot register US cars in Canada.
Whenever i spoke to RIV or CBP or CBFA or on their website i couldn't find any such statements. Few days back i read the article about temporary importing cars, what does it do?
