Hello,

I submitted my parents visitor application 1 year ago from China but my father's application is under security check for over 1 year.
Since my father is main applicant, is it a wise choice to withdraw my mom's application separately to resubmit another application?
I'm not sure if this partial withdraw is possible, it would be great to get some help here! Thank you in advance!

You’d have to withdraw the application and then resubmit your mother’s on her own. If approved then your father can apply again. I would include a letter of explanation of why you withdrew the previous application and applied for a TRV for your mother alone. Include the explanation if you then apply for your father on his own.

Thank you so much for your reply! Do you think it is a good idea to resubmit another type of application for my mom like super visa? I heard that resubmitting same application category it into same bucket and still experience long waiting time.
