Thank you so much for helping me get a PRTD. Without you people I wouldn't of known how to do anything. I really don't know how to thank you. the category is RC-1. I apply for PR renewal directly? At the airport or at the CIC office? Can anyone send me the application form please.
Thank you so much

First you go to Canada because you must be in Canada in order to renew your PR card. Then you apply to renew it through the mail, stating that you had HC grounds as a removed minor and include a copy of your travel document. You can find some renewal instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=057&top=10

What is RC-1

RC-1 means your travel document was granted on H&C grounds. You can see this if you go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/ and scroll down. Click on Enforcement (ENF) and pick ENF 23 from the list. Search for RC-1 and you will find this:

A31(3) Travel document “RC-1” counterfoil coding: Permanent
residents without a permanent resident card / positive H&C case: In
those cases where an overseas applicant for an A31(3) travel document
is issued with an A31(3) travel document, and an officer overseas has
made a determination under A28(2)(c) on the basis of H&C
considerations, counterfoil coding is “RC-1.”

and i can apply directly for pr renewal right? i Shouldn't live for 2 years

Since you were granted a PR TD based on H&C grounds, you don't have to wait for 2 years to renew your PR card as immigration will most likely consider that the decision to let you keep your PR was already made by the visa office by granting you the PR TD. Your application could be delayed though as they might want to see if you just came to renew your PR card and then planning to take off again.

If you do wait for 2 years though, you would meet the RO again and you could renew easily based on that.

Lets say i applied for PR card renewal after a month of my stay in canada. what are the chances of being rejected

I don't think anybody can tell you chances of anything. Does it even matter? Personally I think it's unlikely that they'll outright refuse to renew it but your application could be delayed if they want to take a better look at it.

It depends on the reasons for the rejection. How long you waited for PRTD?

Hope for the best. First you apply pr card and see.

My passport will expire in 2017. At that time I will be in Canada. Is it okay if I mail it for renewal while Im still in canada? I mean the travel document will be on the old passport will that cause a problem?

No problem. PRTD is only single entry to Canada.

But when I apply for PR card renewal they'll ask for my passport number and the old one will be written. Any problems?
