Graduating in Dec 2015 with PGD, applying to Master's for Sept 2016

Hello guys, I once again need your help! I will be graduating from Fanshawe College in December 2015, with my post-grad certificate. I wish to do my Masters now, but I have noticed that most universities have stopped accepting applications for Jan 2016, and even less have a May 2016 intake. My question is, can I apply for Sept 2016 and remain in Canada legally throughout the duration? I currently have a Study Permit valid till Nov 2016. Please advise me, and also if you have any suggestions for Unis that still accept Jan apps or have a May intake. Thanks guys looking forward to your insight.

I am also in ur shoes. Most universities in Canada accept student for masters during Fall, so applications are just rolling out from different schools for September.

I dropped a course so I can finish by April 2016 because according to cic, u can only stay out of school for 4 months.

I intend to take up that one course from January till April, go on break till September.
