Getting a job in Canada depends on various factors like your resume, soft skills, how you present yourself during the interview etc. Employers are willing to compromise on the technical skills and educational as long as you have good soft-skills. A lot of people initially find it hard to find a job in their field of study once they arrive/graduate, they usually settle for regular labour/customer service jobs for survive and then gradually find jobs in their field of study.
I have lived in Canada for two years now and took the same path that you are about to take, thought of sharing my experience.
