Got Rejection with reason--Falilure to declare agent under R 10(2) (C.2)

Hi Guys,

I applied under General category on 27th July and on 11th I got rejection with reason

Falilure to declare agent under R 10(2) (C.2)---- Manually written with pen on the letter that was sent with passport. Non of the other options are marked tick.

Can any one help me in understanding what was the problem, and Can I apply again in this term?

you must have ticked the "Application filled by agent" and forgot to fill information ... or whoever applied on your behalf

I took help from one consultant, while filing my case, and have mentioned their details in the form as well,, but personally submitted it.

Were ur agent registered? Bcs if u fill agent form,then ur agent need to registered under canadian law.

Now in that case if hez not registered, can I apply again without mentioning Agents name or details by not selection option for any agent in my form?

R 10(2)(C.2):
if the applicant is represented, for consideration in connection with the application, by a person referred to in any of paragraphs 91(2)(a) to (c) of the Act, include the name of the body of which the person is a member and their membership identification number;

A 91(2) A person does not contravene subsection (1) if they are
(a) a lawyer who is a member in good standing of a law society of a province or a notary who is a member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec;
(b) any other member in good standing of a law society of a province or the Chambre des notaires du Québec, including a paralegal; or
(c) a member in good standing of a body designated under subsection (5).
