Got Passport request online but no approval letter till now

I Applied Online for study permit on 21 november and got passport request message on 25 november from visa office.I submitted my passport to vfs Ahmedabad on 27 november and it got dispatched to visa office delhi same day But till now I didn't got any approval letter,I am very tensed now.
If someone had same experience please share and please tell that when i can expect approval letter.
And please tell me that when i submitted my passport to vfs Ahmedabad they asked some questions about my IELTS score and financial documents and also about previous visa rejection and visa category like spp or general, why did they asked this questions? my freind also submitted his passport to banglore vfs but they didnt asked any questions to him.

u can login online and see your application status, it should say this application is approved.

But under application status it is showing "Open" and under final decision it showing "not started"

great.. u dun need to worry. V r still waiting for our reply. i applied on 25th nov bt still no reply. very tensed now.

i had called cic customer care and they said student visa aaplications are processed till 13th october for paper application and online application are processed till 19th.

I dont know it might be different under spp or something. I had called canadian cic...kindly chk and wait for their response.
