Hello Guys,
I have a question, if anyone experienced this then please answer.

I will be compliting 6 years on H1 in next june, and no much hope with GC.
I am hoping to get nomination soon, but my question is what will happen if i applied for CIC and by the time they are processing i am out of US , to home country India.
So will all this effort go in drain.
OR Is it OK to be in US upto Medical Request/ AOR then leave.
My quesiton is at what point can i safly leave USA after appling for CIC process.

If any one experence then please share.

It might be safer to apply to the Consulate in the home country, processing times for Provincial Nominees are only slightly longer outside the US.

There was a guy akk on this forum who left the US after doing Medicals, but he had a relative in the US send his passport to the Consulate and pick it up; so it is possible.
