Hello friends,

It is with great delight that I tell you that I received my visa, finally!! CHC has been so cooperative by following up with my inquires regarding my status. I'm thankful to all the members who have shared their knowledge with us. I wish everyone who are still waiting, will get their visa eventually... My case is just another case where it beat so many odds. Good luck to everyone waiting for visa!!

great congrats man... even u didn't complete your studies while you were in america but still they granted you the visa. this is an example for every one. best of luck ahead

Yep. I have mentioned in my very first post here that I was not able to complete my degree in USA. I also applied for Canadian PR under FSW and got refused earlier in the year. There are two conflicting reasons right there. I think I am lucky, but ofcourse, I have provided credible justifications for the hiccups. Also, I have not attached a SOP. I just filled out the study permit questionnaire and my father presented a well compiled sponsor letter.

i also didn't complete my bba degree while i was in uk . but I have attached a well explained letter from my sponsor as to why i came back and bla b;la bla. I hope they give me visa too

I completed my BBA upon coming back to my home country and the degree was from an American university based here. Dont worry. They should get back to you at some point. If you believe you have a strong file, there's nothing that could go wrong. By the way, why did you select Canada over UK in your second attempt?

sorry to hear about your mothers illness buddy. I hope she is doing well now. I heard you could work 20 hours a week if you enroll in an university and not college. True that UK does not have a future for migrants looking for PR. But my friend who lives in UK says not to think of PR. There are people who have the PR in UK but they are begging the streets. So whats important is to keep yourself employed and as far as that happens, life should be ok in UK. I would have gone to either UK or Australia if my Canada visa had been refused.
