Hi My passport was expiring soon so I got it reissued. Should I let CIC know about it by raising CSE or it is not necessary?
Thanks

To be on the safe side, I guess you need to raise CSE because this is another document which they may want to validate... This is my take on this case. Another opinion is invited...

If you have been invited and applied for pr in express entry then I strongly advice to raise cse and submit copies of your new passport. I had to do the same.

Yes, notify cic about it, i dont think any other documents need to be re-validated.

Hi Andy.cic!
I am in the same situation.
Did you remember what "type of application" you selected? (Express entry or replacement of documents?)
Thanks.

Thank you!
Just one more question.
Did you receive any response from CIC, after you sent your new passport via CSE? In how many days?

After 2 weeks I got an email, it said that my additional documents have been attached to the application.
