Got msg passport has been released but did not get ny email,does it mean refusal

Hiii all,

I had applied for student visa under university category on 4th Nov. for Jan 2014 session, i got msg today that passport has been released by the Canadian High commission but did not get any email. Does it mean a rejection?

My profile:-

10th- 72%
12th- 72%
B.tech(Mechanical) with distinction- 72%
3.5 years of work exp in an automobile company.

Had unconditional offer letter from University of Regina for M.A.Sc.(Thesis based)
1st year tution fee paid
GIC done

Kindly help me. Those who have experience plz reply.

When they give you visa they normally send you an e-mail stating that "your application has been approved". If simple passport dispatched then unfortunately i think its a refusal most probably :(

my bad luck !! But what could be the reason for refusal everything was done. And i feel my profile is also ok still refusal.
 
wait for the passport to deliver bro. !! It happens sometimes when they sends you email later or may be stamped visa without email ... wait for tomrw ... all the best
 
I think you have to wait to check the passport,
But , Is it a must to pay the university tuition fees before you apply for the visa?
 
yes..even my friend didnt get a mail, but his passport was stamped with study permit

Bro there are two possibilities,, if u haven't provide ur email address then it could be a medical call,, if u have provided ur email,, then its definitely refusal,,

don't worry there are still some chances as few people had got their visa without any email

nd dear all I ask u 1 more thing do previous visa rejections effect ur profile, coz I had visitor visa rejections two times earlier. but my consultant said uni category student visa is nothing to do with vistor visa rejection also my profile is good so he said it will not affect my student visa. But now I feel that may be this is the reason for my rejection.

Please frnds help, ur replies are appriciated.

Its not a good profile, its a very good profile.There should be a visa on ur passport. Please let us know when u got ur passport
