Hi all,

I just got my medical request today for myself,my wife and my 5years old daughter, but is my wife is 6 months pregnant, so can she have medical or will she have to wait until the baby is born? I asked someone here and they told me that we wont get the visa until the baby is born and will have to wait until then.

so my question is :
1. can my wife have medical done now?
2. or can i and my daughter have medical done and get the passport stamped or they wont give us visa until my wife's medical is done?
3. whats the best thing to do now?

all replies appreciated.
please help

1. You dont have to be hasty. You got medicals, which is a good sign. I know how it feels to be waiting, but for you i think its worth it...
2. Your wife can have all other tests done, but not XRay, which is one of the important things needed with medicals, so yes, it will delay your processing.
3. No, you and your daughter alone will not get PPR, without your wife.
4. Its just 6 months away. Relax and welcome the baby!! (btw, if you are already in Canada, you do not have to add the baby (as the baby is a canadian citizen) but if you are not in Canada already, you will have to add the baby to your list of dependents as well.)
5. Since anyways you have to wait and add the baby to your list, I would say relax. Your are almost cleared!!
