Hi guys. i need your thoughts. I have already received my request to undergo medical and requested to pay my RPRF. I have already set an appointment next week and I have paid 21,000Php (managers cheque) sent it to the Canadian embassy. I would like to ask what's next?

by the way, I have submitted all my full documents on December 15. Got my Aor in January 7 and my status changed to "in process" in January 15. my agent (in canada) received my request for medical and the request to pay RPRF Feb.14 (what a great valentine gift for me) but the letter was dated Feb.1.

what do i have to expect next? your thoughts are very welcome. :)

Hi
Your case is progressing very fast.
1.Book an appointment with the Doctor for the medical examination
2.Get the Rprf ready and send with copy of the clinic receipt after four days to be sure that the doctor has send your result.

Hi bottomless_appetite,
Congratulations!! Can you please tell what is your NOC code and your local visa office / country of application?

Wow thats fast. you must be so excited. Where did you (or your agent) submit your documents to? I'm hoping london. ;D

Congratulation!! I´m happy for you. Could you please tell us your timelines, noc code and visa office?

Hi guys, thanks for your reply. I have applied under the following NOC.

NOC 4131
NOC 3152
NOC 0621

My agent applied in Sydney, Nova Scotia. I got my first AOR in October 2, 2009. I was 90% ready to submit all my documents until my agent discovered that i took the wrong IELTS module. ( i took the academic instead of general) so i have to wait for another month to take the general one. I submitted all documents to Canadian Embassy in Manila Dec. 15, and got my 2nd AOR January 7. As indicated in the e-status, they started processing my docs Jan.14. They sent the letter for me to undergo medical and pay my RPRF dated Feb1 to my agent. My agent in Canada received it Feb.14 and emailed it to me the same day.

I have already booked for medicals next week. (I hope everything will be smooth) and I have submitted my payment for RPRF yesterday to the embassy in manila.

by the way, how will i know that the embassy has received the RPRF already? will they issue a receipt? I only placed the managers cheque in an envelope with my name and address outside the envelpe and sent it via DHL.

hi,

im from the Philippines too. i read ur post about the ielts. i have submitted my documents to makati embassy in january 18, 2010 and revcd aor jan 28. now im waiitng for medical request but submitted academic ielts. wud that mean they wont accept my ielts?

any comments?

thanks

as far as i know they require general training IELTS. that's why my agent told me to take the general training module.

But I know that they will accept academic module as well, only they mentioned that they wont give extra point if you took Academic IELTS, but of course they consider it as well, my friend is also going to apply and she took Academic one. So, it means that you can apply with this as well.

hi nari and bottomless,

the way i understand it yes.they will accept both, just no additional points for academic. Dont worry bottomless, u can still use academic module for any licensure u plan to take in canada.;) ;)i hope i get med request soon

hi guys,
CHC accept both IELTS, only thing is that you can score more points in general, and for immigration you need general english not acadamic, i would strongly suggest that who ever is booking for IELTS , go for General you score more points and get more score in english.
