Doc's Request.
ITA recived 1 March 2017
Hi everyone,

Got an ITA on 1st March :) I am the main applicant. I have filled out the online form and received the personalized document checklist. Most of it is pretty straightforward however I was looking for clarity on the following points:

1) Education:
Should I upload WES, IELTS and Degree's transcript? as it only asking for degree.

2) Family member proof of Status:
My uncle (mother's brother) is a Canadian. Other than his Canadian passport, do i need to upload additional documents (proof of relationship, tax returns, bank statements, etc)?

3) Proof of Relationship:
Who does this imply to? Immediate family members? i.e. to provide birth certificate of siblings and marriage certificate of parents.

4) Husband's Employment record:
My husband is currently working for a bank in Dubai. In the past 10 years, he has worked for 3 different banks. No Canadian experience hence no points obtained. He is very confident that these banks will not issue detailed experience letters (including work hours, etc). could this be an issue with our application?

5) Husband's PCC
My husband has studied in US from 1998-2002. Does he need a PCC from US? He got a PCC from US in 2014 when we were applying under FSWP. Would the same PCC work for our application? as he has not lived there post 2002.

thank you for the support :)

1 - I would upload all except the transcripts.

2 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp - look for proof of relationship to a relative in Canada.

3 - See #2.

4 - It will be an issue if he's the primary applicant. If you're the primary applicant then his foreign work experience is irrelevant to your application, remove such experience from the work history section and add it in the personal history section.

5 - If he hasn't been back to the States since 2014 then yes, he can use it.

Thank you so much !

is it possible to remove his uncle from the form now? as we don't expect him to share the documents :(

can we change the form now? as the documents have not been submitted yet.

he did go back two after 2014 but on a leisure trip. does he need a new PCC?

1 - You can remove it and explain the reason in a LOE but if you're a FSW applicant you have to be careful that it doesn't affect your eligibility (67/100 points).

2 - Yes you can change it now.

3 - He needs a new PCC

apologize for ignorance. as we applied under express entry. CRS of 436 and got ITA. does FSW point system works in parallel? in our case, my uncle is Canadian as well and he will provide the document. What reason should we give for not mentioning my husband's uncle in the application?

3 - He needs a new PCC
scary, as i heard US PCC is taking too long :(

1 - Your letter of invitation should state the program for which you were invited for - CEC or FSW - stating the difficulty of obtaining such documents from his uncle and the fact that your eligibility remains unchanged is sufficient.

thanks .. It's FSW
