Got issued a new UCI number after applying for TRV through IRCC portal.

Hi, everyone! I’m a student in Canada and am outside the country waiting for my TRV to be approved.

I wanted to ask if anyone got a new UCI after applying for a TRV on the new IRCC portal? I put in my original UCI in my application, but somehow got issued a new one. I’ve contacted IRCC noting the UCI number change, and am wondering if it could be the reason why my application is taking long to process.
