What about notorising the documents. Are there any success rates for 2283 noc code?

If your documents are in english or French, you do not need to notarize anything and even if you do, it will not speed or delay the process. If you chose the right NOC code, then there is nothing to worry about. Every application is unique, so just because your friend is ahead is not cause for panic. Relax and wait your turn patiently.

Yes. i had a post graduation work permit (PGWP) and it doesn't have a NOC code attached to it b.c i could use it for any job

Ok but people who comes from US on WP have NOC codes mentioned in their WP which makes them to apply easier for the CEC.Alot of time gets wasted in finding the correct NOC code.

yeah, but I belong to the Graduate Stream group b.c i attended University in Canada so that's the work permit that I could get and you can receive up to 3 yrs with a PGWP. if you graduated from a Canadian University, I could see it as a positive b.c you only need 1 yr of work experience instead of 2 and your are given 3 yrs to work so it's plenty of time for applicants to work 1 yr and apply for PR without having to worry about work permit expiring.

One thing I've seen so far about having NOC on work permits is that sometimes the job you get doesn't exactly fit the title on your NOC. With PGWP, that's not an issue.

Hi, unfortunately none of us can know when processing begins. So you have to keep checking e-cas and whether they have collected the application fee from credit card or cashed draft.

u might have to request for CAIPS notes and see what's going on with ur application. I have waited for 3 months without aor and i am going to apply for this by first week of december so it's better for u to apply and make corrections if their is any error.

Hi ujbaby,

I'm thinking of applying for the caips notes too.. I'm wondering about the form.. When it says location, do you write in the location of the office where you sent the application to (in my case it's Sydney, Nova Scotia), or is it the office where they were transferred to?

Also.. File number, is it the same as Application number, or something else?

Thanks!
