Send your mother a letter of invitiation how you need her to come and help you temporarily as advised by your doctor. Include a letter from the doctor. Your mother can go to the Canadian embassy and apply for a visit visa. She should show the letters. She also has to prove that this is only a visit and that she will not stay in Canada permanently.

You may also want to prove that you have the funds to take care of your mother while she is in Canada or that she has the funds herself.

If you decide to apply for a supervisa for her instead of a normal visitor visa, she could stay for up to 2 years but then you have to prove your income etc.
