I had posted my problem earlier regarding not sending the Option C and the letter of employment with the application. I missed the doc. checklist so didnt send these. My wife who is sponsoring me called the next day to ask how she can send these 2 docs. but was told to wait till CPC asks for it.

Today she got a call from a lady from CPC-Miss. that please fax me the Option C and the Letter of employment ASAP. My wife will be sending by fax tomorrow. Btw, my file was recvd by Feb 3rd 2011.

Although as per cic website, they havnt reached the feb applications as yet but my wife somehow got a call today. I wanted to notify all the Feb. applicants about this development and wanted to know if and how will this faxing of the docs. will affect the sponsorship approval? Any comments would help a lot.

Once the requested Document is received by them
they will update your profile and make a decision on
it with a comfirmation mail directly to you sponsor.

Note!! You have to stay positive. Goodluck

I have been reading about PPR coming in email, not sure if the sponsorship approval or the decision also first comes in the email to the sponsor or snail mail?

Mississauga almost never sends anything by email. I say "almost" because the rule of thumb is that they don't, but there are a few RARE cases where people claimed they did. The sponsor will get the decision letter in the mail (snail mail).

K Thanks. I believe the e-cas also gets activated once the decision has been made on sponsorship or they have worked on the file. I guess they have started working on files recvd by 1st week of Feb. so thats good news.

Yep, eCAS is usually activated within a few days-to-a-week of them having made a decision. Sometimes you'll get the snail mail letter before eCAS is up, sometimes it's the reverse.

Don't worry as far as I know, its not gonna make any difference as they have just started working on your file and they called you asap, also usually ppl who are requested for additional documents their file tend to be trsf and approved much faster, but again that depends on the case by case basis. No worries everything will be fine :).

Thanks guys, yup hope things go smoothly

Thats great. I applied in February also. I hope to be approved shortly.
Good luck everyone.
