Don't worry about it. You of course have to mention the refused visitor visa on the PR application. I would include the info that you had applied to visit the person who is now your husband. I would not provide long detailed explanations of why you 'lied' by calling him your dear friend. Why? CIC knows that applicants who are going to visit a friend or dear friend or whatever are often actually going to visit a boyfriend or girlfriend. They know, and it is OK. It is not a lie, in my opinion, and will not be questioned by the vo.

I would include a brief explanation that you wanted to visit your boyfriend and his family, because the visa officer will have the information that you were refused a visitor visa prominently displayed in your file. (This info about my husband was the first thing mentioned in the notes on his PR visa file.) Your TRV application and the info that you were applying to visit your boyfriend (and now husband) is available to the vo, but he or she may not bother digging up the details. It looks far better that the refused TRV application was to visit your current husband, than that the refused TRV app was just your attempt to enter Canada however possible (which is what they may assume).

I know this because I have the CAIPS and FOSS notes from my husband's PR application. All the info about his previous TRV applications was there, but the visa officer processing his PR application only knew he had been refused two TRVs; she did not know that he had applied for the TRVs to visit me. The info was there, but she had not looked at it. So include that info in your PR application.

My husband and I considered each other family and called each other brother and sister.. I think you're okay (we're not brother and sister btw haha)

Thank you , my husband says the same that I worry too much about it. I think the CIC will take into consideration the bulk of evidence such as ( pics of us with friends and family, wedding pics , my husband's visit to me , trips together, telephone bills, e.t.c) more than the one fact that we called each other dear friends in my visitor visa application . I have my husband's mother invitation letter as well that was enclosed with my visitor visa application year ago when we applied for the visa. Thank you evryone I'm glad I joined this forum .
