Dear All,
if all goes well, we expect to be approved for PR in Canada maybe before the year is out.
We currently live in the US and plan to go to Canada for a couple of weeks to get the necessary documents, return to the US and then take a few months to leave our jobs and officially relocate to Canada. This means that our household stuff won't be entering Canada for a few months after we initially go there get stamped.
How do we handle the Customs folks at the border? Is there a time between entering Canada and when the "goods to follow" must be in Canada.
Please advise.
Thanks

There is no time frame specified for Goods to followlist but when you moved completely at that time you expecting to bring what ever you have declared in "Goods to follow List" as duty/tax free during first landing time. so i would suggest prepare two list duringg your first landing - (1) Goods Accompanying(first time taking with you) and (2) Goods to follow list (Future).Same form B4 is good for both of them. check this
