Hi,
As per http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-goods.asp there are certains goods that are duty free and some that you have to pay duty on. One of the areas you pay duty on is "Items you have bought on your way to Canada". What does this mean? Is it the item that we bought on the day we are moving to Canada or an item bought within X period? How does this apply to a Car that is bought now for personal use and then we bring it during landing?
