hi..
my consultant informed me no point in sending papers now..
the cap has very likely reached and they are still updating the numbers...
so i am out of the race..
after putting in a lot of effort i am lost.
i know canada is not the only option..
but i am defeated..
he says very likely the list will change next yr..
good luck 2 all those who applied..

Why are you "out of the race". Exactly how much "effort" have you put in? :)

Which NOC was your work experience? Yes, the list is highly anticipated to change (as is the points matrix) but that doesn't necessarily mean you will be ineligibile to apply.

EVEN IF you are not eligible to apply under FSW1, there is nothing to stop you securing a job offer and applying under FSW2.

You're only "defeated" if you think you are! :)

0811 is my category.
all documents ready for despatch.. but consultant says the cap of 10,000 is already full.. new list not likely 2 hve 0811...thnkx
 
I wonder how come they say that the cap has reached when its only 154 and the max is 500. and as on 2012-03-08 the total application reached office is only 8813. Please read thr the link below:

There is an overall cap of 10,000.
 
0811 is not filled till now and I don't think that it will reach its cap in a month as since June 2011 till now only 154 applications has been received by CIO

My consultant says theres an update in the cic website..
"March 8, 2012 update: we are still receiving a high volume of applications and expect to reach the global cap of 10,000 applications very soon. People applying now should be aware that there is a strong possibility that their application may not arrive at CIC before the cap is reached."
so he says very likely there are many aplications in queue which will make to the 10,000 cap.
so if i apply and dont make it to 10,000 ca i will hve to wait for the aplication to get rejected and come back.he says it may take months.. by the time new list will come out and i wont make it..
i am jst too late
 
Apply it ASAP and you have nothing to loose as even if your cap will reach which going by now seems very hard, you will get the refund of your application and documents back

Deepblues...I can feel your predicament :(

Is it possible to have two sets of the application? You need an original IELTS, REf letters....try to procure that and keep the 2nd application ready for next next intake (in case the NOC is included).

i thought of tht.. but second set of IELTS is very difficult i guess..
reference letters can b managed..
and proof of funds.. the FD certificate.. wht abt tht..
my consultant says he guarentees 100% visa success rate and its based on exereince tht he says so

Oh Deepblues....just try for the duplicate ...people have got duplicates...TRY TRY TRY....dont give up.....will hate to see you giving up....REALLY.... >:( >:(

FD cert etc can be send as copies and statement from bank would do....dont tell me u are sending original ones :o

What is your NOC? They may reach the overall cap of 10,000 soon, but it is all dependent on your NOC, if NOC is not a fast filling one, then you can still give it a shot.

So far they have got 8817 applications as per the CIC update.. 8th March 2012

I do not see any reason for you to think as you have lost it..

Understand all desperate and most demanded people are already IN it will take time to fill in 1183 applications now.. ;)

for 0811 its only 154 applications so far.... :)

You still have at least a full month.. ;D ;D
