Hello,

Is there are any procedure to bring Gold Jewellery while landing ?

Thanks
D

When we landed I had mentioned the jewellery that I had with me at that time with wt. and price in theB4E form and made a total account of all jewellery in the goods to follow list.I think that's about it. :)

yes, you definitely need to declare.

Thanks a lot for the replies.
What about property back home, should this be declared as well during landing ?

Only if it is goods to follow, i.e., if it is something you intend to bring over to Canada later (this is obviously only applicable to regular property, and not to real estate :D ).

Sorry, I meant real estate property.
I will sell this property after 11 years and I would want to take this income to my new home - Canada.
How do I go about this?
Is there a way that I can declare the real estate now during landing and get taxed less when i bring home the income after 10/11 years.

1. You will need a valuation of the property at the time of your Immigration and then when you sell it, you will pay taxes on the gain.
