Going to the USA as a new Canadian Citizen

Hi everyone,

I used to travel regularly to the U.S. for work on an L-1 visa through my EU passport (the visa has now expired). I’ve since become a Canadian citizen and need to travel to the U.S. soon for a conference. Am I free to use my new Canadian passport for this trip, or should I continue traveling on my old EU passport since my past U.S. travel history and visa is tied to it?

I’d be especially interested to hear from anyone who became a Canadian citizen and switched passports after years of holding a U.S. visa, did you face any issues at the border ?
