Hi

so I'm currently a full time student at the University of Prince Edward Island, my course is 4 years long and I've just completed my first semester. Now, I'm thinking of moving to a college in another province for a 2 years bachelors degree instead.

Could anyone please tell me if there will be any complications in my visa because of this, as it expires in 2019 and I was supposed to extend it then because of my 4 years degree but now I'm not sure if i'll be allowed to do that if my new course is just 2 years long? Also how many years of post graduate work permit might I get after this 2 years degree? (+ half/one year at the current university, not sure if they'll count that though) Thanks

Are you sure the bachelor degree is 2 years? Bachelors are typically 4 years in Canada (or 3 years if you go the non-Honours route which almost no one does). Maybe it's actually a diploma?

The PGWP will be based on the degree / diploma you actually completed. If you complete a 2 year program, you'll get a three year PGWP.

Hi, yeah its this program: http://www.vcc.ca/international/programs/program-areas/hospitality-management/bachelor-of-hospitality-management/#fees It says 2 years.

How many years of PGWP would I be getting if I completed my 4 years degree instead? Still 3 years right?
