Going back to Philippines without letter from employer

Hi everyone, I am planning to go back to Philippines asap, i dont have a letter from employer because as of now i am on sick leave due to mu early pregnancy, I will go back to work when i get better,and i have a valid open work permit until May2017. Do i need a letter from my employer? I am also waiting for my PR application at this time. Please help, thank you so much

U do not a letter to reenter Canada as long as u hold a valid WP

It's always good to have documents to show that what you are saying is legit, when you meet a Border official upon re-entry. So if it's easy, get an employment letter from your employer.

Make sure you have valid TRV because without a valid visa, you are not allowed to re-enter Canada, even if you hold a valid work permit (that's written in your work permit, if you read carefully).

check do you need maybe ETA to reenter Canada . i know that visa exempt country need to have it from march 15 2016 . so check is that the same for Phillipine

Ok thank you, what should ne exactly written from the letter? So that my employer know what to write. Thank you. This time I am on sick leave.

I think it is just an offer that states your information and titles. Just Google job offer template .
