Hi All,

Need some guidance.

My organisation applied for a GSS-ICT closed work permit for me, along with an open work permit for my spouse and a study permit for my child in India.

Here are the timeline details:

• Application filed: April 24th
• Biometric request received: April 26th
• My biometric verification: May 1st
• Spouse's biometric verification: May 9th

My child and I received our PPR on May 6th. However, we are uncertain about the current processing time for the spouse's open work permit. Will it be processed under the GSS expedited process, or will it follow the normal processing time of 22 weeks?

It is not a GSS permit, so it may take the normal processing time. Hopefully spouse gets a response sooner.
