I have the same thoughts as the rest. You can’t predict what will happen on the border obviously 
But if the visa is in order and you’re planning her visit, there shouldn’t be any trouble. I have friends, a Canadian and Russian couple and the girlfriend never had any issues coming in to stay for a few months with him in Canada…
