Gift Deed for Cash amount transferred into account

Hi everyone!

I received cash gift of about CAD 4,000/- that was foreign exchange that I transferred & deposited into my account 5 months ago. Now, not leaving any loose ends open, I am requesting for a Gift Deed from my father for this amount however he's not sure if CASH transactions can be validated through a gift deed. Thoughts??

Ideally gift deeds are best shown using the cheque/check which is then credited into your account. But since there can be some suspicious from the validating officer on the unknown funds being added in your account. It is still best to get the cash deposit shown as gift deed which you can explain in the LoE. The clearer you are in your financial details, better chances you have to get PR on time.

Be as transparent in your details as possible. If your case is genuine, no one will stop your PR.

Hey can you please share your gift deed format as my father also gave me gift deed in form of cash that I deposited in my account. I didnt share any details of it in my application before. However, now the visa officer is courious about major deposit and has ask to explain it and i want to send a gift deed letter with LOE. Please can you share the draft of gift deed? I would be really thankful to you. Plus gift deed letter is enough or do I need to send an affidivit as well?

How did you work out for you? Were you able to provide the documents?
Could you please share the format and the documents you provided ?
I received cash gift that I deposited in my account and it is around half the amount I require, I am a bit stressed about showing this.
