I have paid my GIC payment to CIBC through MCB bank and 2 days ago i received confirmation and receipt but today i got an email and CIBC said they are going to returned my payment to my account . What should i do now ? Please help me about this .

Try to contact them if you haven't yet and get an explanation. Not much you can do until you find out why they returned it.

So should i allow to my hometown bank to deposit my funds in my account or not ?

I can't tell you what to do but I think that would be a good idea since CIBC returned the $$. You still have to find out why they returned it, after you do, then you can try again or use another bank.
